Cross-country skiing in South Tyrol – Racines/Ratschings rocks
Cross-country skiing is very popular as a winter sport in South Tyrol and is becoming increasingly more attractive. A winter holiday at Hotel Seeber is therefore the ideal opportunity to indulge in cross-country skiing in South Tyrol as the panoramic trail to the Platschjoch and the trail to Vallettina/Flading are practically on the hotel's doorstep.
Nearby Ridanna/Ridnaun, which is just a few kilometres away from the hotel in the Ridanna/Ridnaun Valley, also has plenty to offer winter fans.
25 km of well groomed trails await you here, where you can glide leisurely or energetically through the snow-covered countryside of the Stubai Alps and enjoy the sun and fresh mountain air at the same time. Night owls can use the floodlit trails and complete a few laps by moonlight, a little highlight on your winter holiday in Racines/Ratschings.
Not just cross-country skiing but biathlon is also very important in Ridanna/Ridnaun, as there is another highlight for winter sports fans here, the biathlon centre! A World Cup, the European Championships and the Junior World Championships 2002 have already been held here. The IBU Cup takes place regularly in Ridanna/Ridnaun and brings attractive biathlon events to South Tyrol.
You can do cross-country skiing in South Tyrol in this area on the circular trail in Ridanna/Ridnaun or on the Platschjoch high altitude trail, which starts at the bottom station of the Rinneralm chair lift after taking the Racines-Giovo/Ratschings-Jaufen gondola.
Look forward to biathlon in Ridanna/Ridnaun in South Tyrol and exciting cross-country skiing here in Racines/Ratschings!
